Hongkou Robotic Club — Robotics Mentor

Coached competitive VEX Robotics teams at Hongkou Robotic Club, working with high school students on robot design, programming, and competition strategy. Teams I mentored reached VEX Skills global rank No. 2 and set multiple world records across international events. On the technical side, I co-designed motion control systems with students: PID closed-loop motor control, encoder-based odometry for state estimation, and Bezier curve path planning for smooth autonomous routines. I also taught foundational engineering, physics, math, and programming to middle school students through a hands-on robotics curriculum.
